Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
BTCDash ("we", "the site") is a free, informational Bitcoin dashboard at btcdash.org. We designed it to collect as little data as possible: there are no accounts, no sign-ups, and we never ask for or store your name, email, wallet address, or holdings on any server.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, country-level location, device type) and anonymous error reports so we can fix bugs. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Data stored in your browser
Optional features like the portfolio "Stack" tracker and display preferences save data only in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for btcdash.org.
Third-party data sources
The dashboard fetches live market data directly from your browser to public APIs (such as mempool.space, Binance, CoinGecko, Coinbase, Kraken, and others). When your browser requests data from those services, they receive your IP address as with any web request. Their own privacy policies apply to that processing.
Advertising
We do not display ads on this site. We may advertise btcdash.org through Google Ads; any cookies involved in measuring those campaigns are governed by Google's policies linked above.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request — everything lives in your browser and in Google Analytics' aggregate reporting. Blocking cookies, using private browsing, or the opt-out add-on all work fine with this site.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
